Upcycling at it's finest!

Elliott has a ton of button-up shirts! Some of them have seen better days!  I decided to "Upcycle" one of his shirts that was headed towards the dumpster. :)  If shirts could talk, it would probably thank me for saving it's life! (lol)  Here is a tutorial on how to make a "shirt bracelet"!

Start by cutting 4 strips of fabric. I used the length of his shirt sleeve.  Next, twist the fabric and start forming into a coil.

After your coil is finished, hot glue the heck out of one side!  This part can be frustrating because it is hard to keep together if your coil isn't tight enough.  While the hot glue dries, cut four circles out of the same fabric.
Lay all four "flowers" hot glued side up.  Measure a ribbon the size that you'd like the bracelet to be.  Place the ribbon the across the backside and hot glue all over the back.  Place the four circles on top of the hot glue.

Let dry, flip over, and enjoy!

So easy!!

My baby niece is continuing to grow!  My sister will now be 34 weeks next week, and may be taken off of best rest!  I have been giving Addison special attention!  She likes to run errands around town with me, but sometimes they are challenging! (haha)
After a trip to the post office!
She is going to make a great big sister!  Baby girl now has a name!  Caroline Olivia!
I snapped a few maternity pictures of Ashleigh and Addison a week ago.  (just in case Caroline makes an early debut)

...a ROYAL good time!

Who had a royal wedding viewing party at 4 am.... I did! :)  I (yes me) cooked breakfast for Shelly, Elizabeth and Elliott.  We ate french toast and cheers the newlyweds with mimosas.  I was the one who cried while watching the wedding.  I blame it on a lack of sleep!

I'm well aware...it's a little overboard

Perfect weather for a Picnic with my mini-me!

Kate Middleton: eat your heart out.
Addison & I shopped around town yesterday, bought some tacky jewelry (as usual) and headed back to "Nana & Papa's house."
We had a picnic in the yard...until the rain came!

yummy.
...I found a sun hat yesterday that pracitally called my name.  My aunt monogrammed it for me!  Now I'm ready to be stylish in the summer!

Life is a zoo...or at least in this house

6 adults, 1 toddler, 2 bunnies, 1 bird, 1 cat, 1 snake and 1 dog...sounding like a zoo yet?

It is definitely a full house in the Wilson household.  Ashleigh and Justin have almost finished moving!  They are already staying at mama & daddy's house.

My studio equipment finally arrived! I couldn't be more excited.  I feel that my photography business is moving right along in the right direction.  I just have to "keep on keeping on."

:)
Bon (my aunt) had her annual Easter party this past Saturday.  It was good to see everyone and celebrate Easter.
